Leap into learning in our Busy Bugs classes! Students registering for this class must be three years old by September 1st.
Our three-year-old program is a balanced blend of social skills and academic skills. We aim to increase confidence, build social skills, develop independence and create excitement about education. We focus on taking turns, being good friends, sharing, and acting appropriately within group activities. Students practice listening and following instructions as their homeroom teacher guides them through songs and stories in circle time. They are introduced to letters, sounds, numbers and counting, shapes, colors and more. They will learn to recognize and write their own names. Our multi-sensory curriculum is built around age-appropriate centers and hands-on activities to develop fine motor skills, math concepts, and more. Students learn about the world around them through science experiments as well as develop creativity through art projects and dramatic play. They are encouraged to practice their social skills while using their imagination. They will enjoy time exploring creative movement through dance and tumbling while developing large motor skills and coordination.
